At Millennium Forum · Newmarket Street, Derry, Co. Derry, BT48 6EB
K-Pop All Stars brings a full-scale live tribute to the Millennium Forum in Derry this July, celebrating the biggest acts in Korean pop through high-energy choreography, bold costuming and the kind of visual spectacle that fills arenas. If you have a fan in the family - or you simply love the sound of a crowd moving as one to precision dance routines - this is a summer afternoon or evening well spent. Two performances run on the same day, making it easy for families to take the early show while evening crowds get a night out of it.
The show pulls together performances inspired by BlackPink, BTS, NewJeans, Stray Kids, Twice, Katseye and more, with choreography created specifically for the production rather than lifted wholesale from music videos. Expect a cast working at real performance intensity - tight formation dancing, full costume changes and lighting that earns its budget. The setlist spans the genre’s recent peak years, so you will hear tracks from acts that have sold out Wembley sitting alongside newer names that dominate streaming right now. There are also numbers inspired by the K-pop Demon Hunters film, which has brought a fresh wave of younger fans to the genre.
The Millennium Forum itself is one of the finest mid-scale venues in Ireland. Opened in 2001, it seats around 1,000 and has one of the largest theatre stages in the country - which means the choreography has room to breathe and the production values can match what the show promises. It is the largest accessible theatre and conference centre in the North West, welcoming more than 320,000 visitors a year.
Derry is well connected by road from Belfast (roughly 70 miles on the A6 and M22, around 75 minutes), from Dublin (roughly 145 miles via the N2, around 2.5 hours) and from Donegal town (about 45 minutes on the N13/N14). Translink operates regular bus and rail services into Derry from Belfast; the main bus and rail station at Duke Street is about a 15-minute walk from the Millennium Forum, or a short taxi ride. The Forum is on Newmarket Street, just outside the city walls, and there are public car parks within walking distance in the city centre.
Derry’s walled city is directly alongside the Forum, and a walk along the walls takes less than an hour - one of the best free things you can do in any Irish city. The Guildhall, the Bogside murals and the Peace Bridge are all within easy reach. There is more to see in Derry and across Co. Derry.
