What to Expect

Kanturk Livestock Mart serves the Duhallow region of North Cork and holds weekly sales for cattle and calves. The regular Tuesday sale has Ring 1 for cattle and Ring 2 for calves, both starting from 11am. For 2026, the mart added a second weekly Thursday evening calf sale during peak calf season to manage increased throughput - over 1,100 calves were sold through the mart during the spring season.

Kanturk is on the R576 in North Cork, approximately 60km from Cork city. The mart is in Kanturk town.
