Punchestown Racecourse Summer Dining and Hospitality 2026

At Punchestown Racecourse · Punchestown, Naas, Co. Kildare

Hospitality tent with food and drinks at Punchestown Racecourse

Punchestown Racecourse is best known for its world-famous April Festival, but the summer jump fixtures running from June through to autumn offer something the festival rarely does: room to breathe. Race days in July are unhurried, sociable affairs where the food and company matter as much as the form guide. If you enjoy a long lunch with a view, or want to bring a group somewhere that feels genuinely special without the April crowds, this is worth considering.

What to expect

The racecourse runs a tiered hospitality set-up across its summer meetings. At the top end, The Watch House Restaurant in the Panoramic Stand is widely regarded as one of the best views in Irish sport - floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the home straight. The Corinthian Restaurant on the first floor of the Hunt Stand offers a similar sweep of the final furlong, with full restaurant dining service. La Touche, positioned above the parade ring, takes a more relaxed approach and suits those who want to keep an eye on the horses warming up between courses.

Restaurant packages include a multi-course meal and a reserved table for the day. For general admission racegoers, the food village runs alongside the main enclosure with hot food traders, craft drinks stands, and racecourse bars. Hospitality packages start from around €70 per person for private suite entry, with full restaurant dining from €95 per person - though summer meeting pricing can differ, so check directly with the racecourse.

Getting there

Punchestown sits on the R411, roughly 5 km south-east of Naas town centre. Coming from Dublin, take the M7 motorway and exit at Junction 10 (Naas South), then follow signs for Punchestown. On-site car parking is available. There is no direct rail link to the racecourse, but on major race days shuttle buses run from Naas town, which itself is served by Bus Eireann and Dublin Coach services from the capital.

While you’re in Naas

Naas is a comfortable market town with restaurants, cafes, and pubs along Main Street worth an hour before or after racing. There is more to see in Naas and across Co. Kildare.
