What to Expect

The annual Killaloe Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage is a five-night trip to the Marian Shrine at Lourdes, France, led by Bishop Fintan Monahan of Killaloe. The pilgrimage departs Shannon Airport on Tuesday 25 June and returns on Sunday 30 June 2026. A limited number of assisted or sick pilgrim places are available at a reduced cost of EUR 890.

Pilgrims can participate in the full Lourdes experience including candlelight processions, the baths, outdoor Masses and devotional services at the Sanctuary. Bus transport from parishes across County Clare connects to Shannon Airport.
