At Laytown Beach · Strand Road, Corballis, Laytown, Co. Meath
Laytown Beach parkrun is a free timed 5K run held on the sand at Laytown Beach, one of the few beach-based parkruns in Ireland. The course is an out-and-back route along the shoreline. It only runs when low tide permits, so check the event page before travelling to confirm the week’s run is on.
Every Saturday at 9:30am, tide permitting - check parkrun.ie/laytownbeach for confirmation.
Free to participate; register once at parkrun.ie and bring a barcode.
Suitable for all paces - the sand surface makes it a more challenging workout than tarmac.
Launched in early 2024 as Meath’s third parkrun location.
Laytown Beach is accessed via Strand Road, Corballis, Laytown. Car parking is available at the beach car park off the R150.
