Carlingford Lough Greenway path along the lough shore

What to Expect

The Greenway Run Club assembles every Monday at 7pm at the Marina, the start of the Carlingford Lough Greenway, for an informal group run of 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back along the lough shore path. Participants run at their own pace; no pressure or minimum ability required. The Carlingford Lough Greenway is a 14km off-road path along the south shore of Carlingford Lough, passing through Omeath and on toward the border at Narrow Water. Note that a temporary section closure was in place from 26 May 2026 for five weeks to facilitate works at Narrow Water Bridge; check the greenway website for current access conditions before attending.
