The Creative Kids Summer Camp at Leitrim School of Art is a week-long arts programme running through July in Drumshanbo, taking children aged 5 to 12 and giving them a proper creative outlet over the summer break. It is run by qualified teachers who split the group by age, so younger children are not trying to keep up with older ones. If your child has shown any interest in making things - drawing, painting, getting their hands into something - this is a well-organised setting to follow that up.
Each session runs across a week and covers a mix of disciplines: painting, drawing, sculpture, and animation are all part of the mix.
