Croom Community Bingo

Croom Sports Hall runs a bingo night every Tuesday, organised by Croom Community Development Association as one of the town’s steady weekly fixtures. Doors open at 7pm with games starting at 8pm, and the night has built a loyal following over the years, regularly filling the hall plus the occasional bumper jackpot night that pushes the prize fund well into the thousands and draws a bigger than usual crowd.

What to expect

A full card of bingo games runs through the evening with cash prizes, including special jackpot nights where the prize fund has topped five thousand euro. Croom Community Development Association, the local group behind the night, also uses bingo to raise funds for community projects in the town, so every book sold feeds back into Croom itself. The crowd is a mix of regulars who come every week and newcomers drawn in by a big jackpot. The association has run larger seasonal versions too, including a summer bingo bash with spot prizes and extra refreshments, but the standard Tuesday night is the constant behind those bigger one-off events.

Getting there

Croom Sports Hall is part of Croom Sports Complex in the centre of the village, about 21km south-west of Limerick city on the R518. There is parking on site at the sports complex.
