Long Meadow Cider - Orchard and Cider Tour with Tasting

At Long Meadow Cider · 38 Ballynamoney Road, Loughgall, Portadown, Co. Armagh

Visitors walking through apple orchard at Long Meadow Cider near Portadown

What to Expect

Long Meadow Cider is a family-run farm near Portadown producing award-winning ciders, apple juices, and apple cider vinegar from their own handpicked Armagh Bramley apples. Guided orchard and cidery tours run from 11am and last approximately 90 minutes. Visitors walk through the orchard - seeing blossom in spring, baby apples in summer, and early picking fruit from late August onward - before visiting the cold storage, pressing facilities, and blending area. The tour concludes with a tasting session in the glass-fronted Bramley Barn set in the heart of the orchard, sampling a range of ciders and apple juice, accompanied by tea, coffee, apple tart, and fresh cream. Summer visits allow guests to see the apples grow and mature on the tree. All tours must be booked at least 48 hours in advance by phone or email.
