Longford Tidy Towns Churchgate Collection

What to Expect

The Longford Tidy Towns annual Churchgate Collection takes place at St. Mel’s Cathedral over two days: Saturday, August 19 (Mass at 7:30pm) and Sunday, August 20 (Masses at 7:30am, 9:30am, 11am, and 12:30pm). Volunteers collect donations to support Longford Tidy Towns’ environmental enhancement, biodiversity and climate action projects throughout the county.

The fundraiser is part of Longford Tidy Towns’ ongoing mission to improve community spaces and promote environmental stewardship across County Longford.

Good to Know

• Two-day collection: Saturday August 19 and Sunday August 20
• Saturday evening Mass at 7:30pm
• Sunday Masses at 7:30am, 9:30am, 11am, and 12:30pm
