Lurgan Junior parkrun - Weekly 2km Fun Run for Children

What to Expect

Lurgan Junior parkrun is a free, timed 2km run held every Sunday morning at 9:30am in Lurgan Park. It is open to children aged 4 to 14, regardless of ability - children can walk, jog or run at whatever pace suits them. Every participant is timed and results are posted online.

The event is entirely run by volunteers and is part of the global parkrun network. First-timers should register at parkrun.org.uk before attending (registration is free and only needs to be done once).

Getting There

Lurgan Park is off Windsor Avenue in Lurgan. Free parking is available on Windsor Avenue and surrounding streets. Lurgan train station is about a 15-minute walk.
