At Ballina Arts Centre · Barrett St, Ballina, Co. Mayo, F26 NW83
Tommy Tiernan brings his World Tour of Mayo to Ballina Arts Centre on Thursday 19 November 2026 at 8pm, one of two Mayo dates on this run alongside a separate show at TF Royal, Castlebar in late November. The Times has called the tour “Exquisite” and the Irish Examiner praised its “wild yarns, philosophical detours,” which sums up Tiernan’s loose, largely unscripted approach to a night on stage where the set is built from whatever’s on his mind rather than a fixed script. As with his other dates, the show runs phone-free, with mobile devices collected in Yondr pouches before the performance starts, so nothing from the room ends up online before the next crowd sees it. Tickets went on sale on 30 September at 10am and this Ballina date is now sold out, so the page is here for reference rather than booking, and anyone who missed out could try the TF Royal date in Castlebar instead. The show runs around 120 minutes.
Ballina Arts Centre is on Barrett Street in the centre of Ballina, close to on-street parking and the town’s restaurants and bars. Ballina sits on the N26 and N59, around an hour from both Castlebar and Sligo, with Bus Eireann services connecting the town to the rest of the county.
Even with this date sold out, Ballina’s town centre is worth a visit in its own right, with the River Moy running through the middle of town and a good spread of places to eat. It’s worth keeping an eye on the venue’s own site for any returns closer to the date, since sold-out comedy shows do occasionally free up a handful of tickets.
