At Solstice Arts Centre · Railway Street, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 K836
Meath Public Participation Network (Meath PPN) hosts an All About Youth event at the Solstice Centre in Navan on Sunday 20 September 2026, running from 2pm to 5pm. The gathering brings together young people, youth organisations and community and voluntary groups to focus on youth-related initiatives and supports across the county, in keeping with Meath PPN’s broader role of linking community and voluntary groups with local government decision-making. Meath PPN acts as the structure through which community, voluntary, environmental and social inclusion groups across the county have a formal voice in council policy, sitting on committees and forums alongside elected members and council staff, and events like this one are typically used to gather views, share information on funding and supports, and connect younger residents and youth-focused organisations with that wider network. Further programme details, including any confirmed speakers or workshop sessions, are published on the Meath PPN website and through its newsletter in the weeks before the event takes place.
Date: Sunday 20 September 2026, from 2pm to 5pm.
Venue: Solstice Arts Centre, Railway Street, Navan.
Free to attend; open to young people, youth organisations and interested community groups.
Organised by Meath Public Participation Network (Meath PPN).

Solstice Arts Centre is in Navan town centre on Railway Street, within walking distance of the bus station and the main town centre car parks, and is served by local and intercity bus routes into Navan. As Meath’s principal civic arts venue, it regularly hosts council, PPN and community-sector events such as this one alongside its usual programme of theatre, film, gallery exhibitions and workshops, so it is well set up to accommodate a Sunday afternoon gathering with breakout spaces for smaller group discussions if the programme requires them. Anyone attending who has not been to the centre before should allow a few extra minutes to find the correct entrance, as the building also houses a public gallery and cinema screens that run on their own separate schedule that afternoon.
