Natasha Bedingfield at Live at the Marquee

Natasha Bedingfield at Live at the Marquee Cork July 2026

Natasha Bedingfield, the British pop singer behind some of the defining tracks of the early 2000s, plays Live at the Marquee on Thursday 2 July 2026. If you grew up with Unwritten, These Words or Pocketful of Sunshine on repeat, this is a proper nostalgia hit - and one that feels more timely than most, given that Unwritten staged a remarkable viral comeback in 2024, returning to the Billboard Global 200 more than two decades after its release. Cork singer-songwriter Stephanie Rainey opens the evening, making this a night with genuine local heart alongside the headline draw. It suits anyone who wants a big outdoor summer concert without the festival-sized logistics.

What to expect

Live at the Marquee is a large temporary marquee venue that goes up each summer at Marina Commercial Park, about a mile from Cork city centre. It holds a serious crowd but still feels more connected than an open-air stadium - you are under canvas, close to the stage, and the sound carries well. Gates open at 6:30pm, with the main act typically on stage between 8:30pm and 9pm, finishing around 10:30pm.

Bedingfield has sold over 20 million albums worldwide, earned Grammy and BRIT nominations, and built a back catalogue that stretches from her debut Unwritten through N.B., Strip Me and 2019’s Roll With Me. Expect the hits and then some. Stephanie Rainey - Cork-born and with a growing following on the Irish circuit - is a strong choice of support and worth arriving early for.

The venue is cashless, so leave the coins at home and bring a bank card for food, drink and any merch. Several food vans operate on-site, and there are additional options at the nearby Marina Market if you arrive early.

Getting there

Live at the Marquee sits on Centre Park Road, off the Albert Road roundabout on the south side of Cork city. From the city centre it is about a 7-minute drive in reasonable traffic, or a 30-minute walk along the river. There is no dedicated bus route to the venue door, but Cork city centre is well served by Bus Eireann and local city buses - from there the walk along the Marina is straightforward and pleasant on a summer evening.

If you are driving, the venue has 300 on-site car park spaces available to pre-book through Ticketmaster for around €14.20. Advance booking is strongly recommended; these spaces sell out for popular shows. Limited street parking exists near the Marina, but do not count on it for a busy concert night.

While you’re in Cork

Cork is a full day out before or after the show - the English Market, the riverside quays, and the Shandon quarter are all within easy reach of the city centre. There is more to see in Cork and across Co. Cork.
