At Navan Centre and Fort · 81 Killylea Road, Armagh, Co. Armagh, BT60 4LD
Navan Centre and Fort hosts a dedicated Lughnasa Weekend in early August 2026, marking the ancient Celtic harvest festival over three days. The weekend opens on Friday evening with “Tales of the Past” - an evening of storytelling and live music rooted in the mythology of Emain Macha. Saturday afternoon is given over to “Games of the Past” - a family fun afternoon with interactive Celtic games and activities suitable for children. The weekend closes on Sunday with a Fused Glass Ogham Experience workshop.
The three-day format provides something for all ages: the storytelling evening suits older children and adults, the Saturday afternoon games session is ideal for families with younger children, and the Sunday craft workshop offers a hands-on creative activity.
Friday evening: Tales of the Past (storytelling and music)
