At Newmarket Square · Newmarket, Dublin 8
After a seven-year absence from its original home, the Newmarket Flea Market returns to Newmarket Square in Dublin 8 on Sunday 20 July 2026, running from 11am to 4pm. The relaunch is a three-month pilot covering July, August and September 2026, with the possibility of becoming a regular monthly fixture if the response is strong.
For ten years, the Dublin Flea was one of the capital’s most beloved monthly markets, trading on the last Sunday of every month in the heart of the Liberties. The market moved to the Digital Hub on Thomas Street in 2019, but the return to Newmarket brings it back to its roots in one of Dublin’s most historically rich and creatively active neighbourhoods. Newmarket Square, with its growing roster of independent businesses, craft breweries and cultural spaces, provides the ideal backdrop for a flea market revival.
Expect a mix of vintage clothing and accessories, second-hand books and records, handmade crafts, original art, furniture and assorted curios, alongside the occasional food and drink vendor. The flea market format is relaxed and social, ideal for a Sunday morning browse.
Pilot runs on Sunday 20 July, and subsequent Sundays through September 2026
Market hours are 11am to 4pm
Entry is free; bring cash for purchases
The market takes place outdoors in Newmarket Square
