What to Expect

Portadown Library is hosting a free drop-in social session - Tea, Newspapers, Chat and Connect - for adults on Thursday 12 June 2026, from 10am to 12 noon, as part of Loneliness Awareness Week. The session is informal and relaxed, offering a chance to read the papers, have a cup of tea and connect with others in the community. No booking is required.

This is one of a number of events organised by Libraries NI across the borough to mark Loneliness Awareness Week (9 to 15 June 2026) and foster a sense of community connection.

Getting There

Portadown Library is on Edward Street in Portadown town centre. It is close to the main bus stops and within easy walking distance of the town centre shops and car parks.
