Tom Grennan at Live at the Marquee

Tom Grennan is one of the most consistent chart performers in Britain right now - three consecutive UK Number 1 albums, arenas sold out across the UK and Ireland, and a reputation for live shows that land harder than the records. His only Irish date on this summer 2026 headline tour is a single night under the big top at Live at the Marquee in Cork. If you have been waiting for an excuse to get down to Cork in July, this is a strong one.

What to expect

Grennan’s catalogue runs from melodic guitar-driven pop to bigger anthemic rock moments, and his live sets tend to pull from across all of it. Expect tracks from the most recent album - Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn’t Want To Be - alongside the earlier hits that built his following. The Marquee itself is a large tented venue that holds several thousand people, with a proper stage and production setup. It is not an outdoor festival stage; it is a purpose-built concert space that packs atmosphere in. Gates open at 6.30pm. The main act typically takes the stage somewhere between 8.30pm and 9pm, with sets wrapping around 10.30pm. The venue is cashless, so leave the notes at home and bring your bank card.

Getting there

Live at the Marquee sits on Centre Park Road, about a seven-minute drive from Cork city centre - take the first left at the Albert Road roundabout heading in from the city. There is on-site parking for around 300 cars, bookable in advance through Ticketmaster for €14.20, and it sells out for popular nights. Book it when you buy your tickets. If you are coming by public transport, Bus Eireann services run from the city centre, and the walk from Ballintemple takes around 15 minutes. After the show, avoiding Centre Park Road itself and heading for Monahan Road or Parc Ui Chaoimh for a pickup will save you a wait in post-gig traffic.
