West Cork Literary Festival - Children's Programme 2026

What to Expect

The West Cork Literary Festival runs from 10 to 17 July 2026 in Bantry, Co. Cork, and includes a dedicated free children’s programme. Workshops and readings are designed for children and young people aged 4 to 14 and are deliberately timed so that parents can attend other festival events at the same time. The children’s events encourage a love of reading and storytelling, with author visits and creative writing activities. All children’s and young people’s events are free of charge.
