What to Expect

Belvedere Home of Halloween is the estate’s Halloween-week event, running every evening from 24 to 31 October 2026 across the grounds of Belvedere House on Lough Ennell. It takes over the walled gardens and parkland after dark, extending Belvedere’s usual daytime opening into an evening Halloween experience for the week that includes the October bank holiday weekend. Belvedere House lists full activity details as “coming soon” on its events page ahead of the date, so the exact format of this year’s trail had not yet been published at time of writing.

The event is one of two autumn dates on Belvedere’s calendar, sitting a few weeks after the Belvedere Food & Apple Festival in early September. Where that event runs during the day, Home of Halloween is an evening fixture, with the estate’s listing showing a nightly run from 5pm to 9pm across the full week rather than a single weekend date. As with the rest of Belvedere’s programme, it makes use of the wider grounds around the Georgian house and Lough Ennell shoreline rather than a single indoor venue, so visitors should dress for an outdoor evening in late October.
