The Football Association of Ireland has owned the facility since 2020, and it regularly hosts Irish underage international fixtures alongside League of Ireland football. There is a clubhouse with a wine bar and restaurant in the southwest corner. Both sides go into this game looking to build First Division form, and Athlone Town away trips are usually competitive, close fixtures between two provincial clubs with loyal support bases.

Getting There

Wexford town itself is served by Bus Éireann and Irish Rail, but a car or taxi is the easiest way to reach the stadium from the town centre.
