Wicklow Minor A Football Championship: Blessington v St Patrick's

Blessington host St Patrick’s in Round 1 of the Wicklow Minor A Football Championship on Monday, 27 July 2026, the top grade of underage football in the county for players in their final year of minor eligibility. Blessington’s grounds at The Demesne, in the foothills of Glending Forest on the edge of west Wicklow, are the setting for a competition that regularly produces the county’s next generation of senior footballers. Getting there

The Demesne is on the edge of Blessington village in west Wicklow, reached via the N81 from Dublin or Baltinglass. There is no rail service to Blessington, so a car is the practical way to reach the grounds; parking is available at the club.
