All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Quarter-Final

At Croke Park · Croke Park, Dublin

All-Ireland camogie quarter-final at Croke Park

Tipperary’s camogie players have earned their shot at Croke Park the hard way. After competing in Group 1 of the 2026 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship - the toughest group, containing the 2025 semi-finalists Cork, Galway and Waterford - the Premier County come into the quarter-final phase with something to prove. If you have never seen a senior camogie match at All-Ireland level, a Croke Park quarter-final is the best possible introduction to the game.

What to expect

The quarter-final on Saturday 4 July is staged as a double-header with one of the GAA Senior Hurling semi-finals, so one ticket covers two major games. The camogie throw-in is listed at 15:30; the hurling semi-final follows. Croke Park holds just over 82,000 and the sight lines from every tier are excellent. The game itself is fast - played with the same sliotar and hurleys as men’s hurling, with aerial contests, long-range shooting and the kind of close-quarters defending that makes every score feel earned. There are no second chances here: knockout is knockout. Tipperary’s provincial form going in is strong - they beat Cork and reached the Munster Senior Final in 2026 - and they face a qualifier from Group 2 (Offaly, Wexford, Kilkenny, Limerick, Clare or Dublin) once the group stage is complete. The county supporter culture is warm and vocal; there will be plenty of blue and gold in the crowd.

Getting there

Croke Park is on the northside of Dublin city, roughly 1 km from O’Connell Street. From Tipperary the M8 motorway connects to the M50, making the drive under two hours in normal traffic. There is no match-day parking at the ground itself. Park-and-ride runs from Luas stops at Red Cow, Citywest and Carrickmines. The Parnell Luas stop is a five-minute walk from the stadium; Drumcondra rail station is equally close. Bus Eireann operates services from Tipperary town to Dublin Busaras, and from there the stadium is a short bus ride or 15-minute walk. On a big double-header day, public transport beats driving into the city by a distance.

While you’re in Tipperary

If the trip extends beyond match day, the county has the Rock of Cashel, the Glen of Aherlow and a good few decent pubs in Tipperary town itself. There is more to see in Tipperary and across Co. Tipperary.
