One of the four best camogie sides in Ireland will play at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles on Saturday 25 July 2026, competing for a place in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final at Croke Park. This is elite intercounty hurling on the women’s side - fast, physical, and genuinely breathtaking when the level is this high. The 2026 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship has ten counties in two groups. The top two from Group 1 - which includes the four 2025 semi-finalists - plus the two best quarter-final winners feed into the last four. Confirmed for the semi-finals at time of writing are Cork and Galway; the other two places are still to be settled. The specific Thurles pairing will be confirmed on camogie.ie once the group stages complete.
FBD Semple Stadium holds 45,690 people - the second largest GAA ground in the country after Croke Park. Even at a semi-final attendance it has a proper big-match atmosphere; the stands are steep, sightlines are excellent, and the pitch is one of the best-kept in the game.
Thurles is 150 km from Dublin via the M7 and M8 - roughly 1 hour 45 minutes. From Cork it is about 1 hour 15 minutes north on the M8. Irish Rail runs regular Intercity services from Dublin Heuston (around 1 hour 40 minutes) and from Cork (around 1 hour). The stadium is a short walk from Thurles railway station, which makes the train a practical option on match day. Street parking and car parks are available close to the ground; arrive 45 minutes early on a big day to avoid queuing.
