What to Expect

The Armagh County Agricultural Show and Country Festival returns on Saturday 13 June 2026 in the beautiful surroundings of Gosford Forest Park, 6 miles from Armagh city on the main Armagh to Newry road near Markethill. The show runs from 9am to 5pm.

One of the oldest shows in Ireland, it features livestock competitions including cattle, sheep, horses and ponies, alongside home industries, arts and crafts, horticulture and flower classes, photography, vintage exhibits, food stands and live entertainment. It is a major community gathering for County Armagh, drawing thousands of visitors from across the area.

Getting There

Gosford Forest Park is on the A28 Armagh to Newry road, approximately 6 miles from Armagh city centre and just outside the village of Markethill. Ample parking is available on site.
