Arts and Crafts Sessions at Share Discovery Village

At Share Discovery Village · 221 Lisnaskea Road, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, BT92 0JZ

Arts and crafts materials laid out in the Arts Arena at Share Discovery Village

Share Discovery Village runs a weekly arts and crafts session open to all ages and abilities in the purpose-built Arts Arena on its campus outside Lisnaskea, with the next date falling on Tuesday, 4 August 2026. Sessions run for ninety minutes from 11:30am and cover activities such as T-shirt painting, balloon modelling, mosaic making and bracelet making, led by Share’s resident arts team. The session is one date in a wider July to August summer programme rather than a single one-off event.

What to expect

Share is Northern Ireland’s largest residential activity centre, founded in 1981 during the International Year of the Disabled and built specifically around the inclusion of disabled and non-disabled people together. The arts programme runs from a purpose-built Arts Arena fitted with professional audio-visual and theatre equipment, and the resident arts team adapts the day’s activity to whoever is booked in, drawing from a rotating list that includes T-shirt painting, Mod Roc modelling, mosaic work, balloon modelling and bracelet making, so the exact craft on any given Tuesday varies. The village sits on 65 acres on the shore of Upper Lough Erne and welcomes more than 10,000 visitors a year across over 30 arts, land and water activities, so a craft session here often runs alongside other outdoor programmes booked for the same day. The current run of sessions goes weekly from 4 July through to 29 August 2026, with this listing covering the first Tuesday after 2 August.

Getting there

Share Discovery Village is signposted off the Lisnaskea Road just outside Lisnaskea town, on the shore of Upper Lough Erne in south Fermanagh. The centre has its own car park for day visitors. Because sessions form part of a scheduled programme rather than casual drop-in access, booking ahead by phone or email is required.

While you’re in Lisnaskea

Lisnaskea is the main market town for south Fermanagh, with the ruins of Castle Balfour on its Main Street for anyone who wants to extend the visit, and Upper Lough Erne close by for those who want to stay on the water. There is more to see in Lisnaskea and across Co. Fermanagh.
