The Boyne Midsummer Festival opens its first 2026 weekend with an atmospheric evening concert at Abbey Lane, Drogheda, set under the mural of Boann. The line-up features three local acts: Sean McCluskey (singer-songwriter with an atmospheric band), Ortiga (trio blending folk, blues and a cappella harmonies), and Daithi McGahon, who opens with toe-tappers and sing-along classics. Food is supplied by Graft at bruhub. The EUR 15 ticket includes a complimentary drink (beer, wine or mineral). The event goes ahead rain or shine.
The Boyne Midsummer Festival is a collaborative production involving Droichead Arts Centre, Sound Town, Drogheda Night-Time Economy Adviser, Scotch Hall, The Coffee Box, Bare Food Cafe, Louth County Council and Love Drogheda BID.
