CCEN Environmental Film Series at Visual Carlow

What to Expect

Carlow County Environmental Network (CCEN), in partnership with counterparts in Kildare and Wexford, presents a summer-long series of free environmental documentary screenings every Friday at Visual Carlow. Films cover climate change, sustainable food and fashion, waste, and the natural world. Running from 5 June through 21 August 2026, each screening lasts approximately 90 minutes and is followed by discussion.

• Venue: Visual Carlow and The George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Old Dublin Road, Carlow Town.

• Free admission - no booking required.

• Films vary each week; check the Visual Carlow website or CCEN for titles.

Getting There

Visual Carlow is on Old Dublin Road on the western edge of Carlow Town, a short walk from the town centre. On-street and nearby car parking is available.
