What to Expect

During the school summer holidays, Carlow County Library runs a series of free children’s workshops alongside the Summer Reading Challenge. Past workshops have included science experiments, creative writing, art and crafts, and coding introductions. Workshops are aimed at children aged 6 to 12 and spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

• Workshops run throughout July and August (full schedule released in late June).

• Venue: Carlow County Library, Tullow Street, Carlow Town.

• Free but booking required - contact the library at 059 917 0094 or via the website.

• Some workshops also run at branch libraries in Tullow and Bagenalstown.
