What to Expect

County Cavan has a network of Men’s Sheds including locations in Cavan Town, Belturbet and District, Virginia, Ballyjamesduff, Cootehill, Kingscourt, Mullagh, Swanlinbar, Kilnaleck and Stradone. Men’s Sheds provide a welcoming environment where men naturally connect through practical activities - restoring furniture, repairing bicycles and pursuing hobbies - while building friendships that combat rural isolation. Ten Cavan Men’s Sheds received grant funding in 2026 to support their running costs. Drop in to your local shed or contact the Irish Men’s Sheds Association for details.
