At The Moat Theatre · The Moat Theatre, Naas, Co. Kildare
The Classic Beatles have been bringing their meticulous, note-perfect tribute to venues across Ireland for years, and their 2026 outing is the most ambitious yet. This time they turn the spotlight on Revolver - the 1966 album that changed everything - marking sixty years since it was released. If you have a soft spot for Eleanor Rigby, Here, There and Everywhere or the hypnotic weirdness of Tomorrow Never Knows, this is a Saturday night well spent. The show suits anyone who loves the Beatles, from those who were there first time round to grown-up kids who came to them through a parent’s record collection.
The Classic Beatles have built a following across Ireland for the quality of their playing and their respect for the original arrangements. The Revolver & More tour takes on material the band describe as their biggest artistic challenge yet - songs that ranged from biting social commentary (Taxman) to orchestral balladry (Eleanor Rigby) to genuinely experimental studio work (Tomorrow Never Knows). The ”& More” in the title signals that the show does not stick rigidly to a single album - expect the wider mid-period Beatles catalogue to get an airing alongside the Revolver core. Ryan Tubridy has called them “easily the best Beatles tribute in the world,” which sets the bar and, by most accounts, they clear it. The Moat Theatre holds around 200 seats, so the room stays intimate - no sound-system muddiness, no bad seats at the back.
Naas is the county town of Kildare, sitting on the M7 motorway about 30 kilometres south-west of Dublin. By car, the journey from the capital takes roughly 35 to 45 minutes depending on traffic; from Limerick or Cork, Naas is well signposted along the same motorway corridor. There is street parking in the town centre around the theatre, and a multi-storey car park a short walk away. By public transport, Bus Eireann and Dublin Bus run regular services from Dublin city centre and Busaras to Naas; the journey takes around an hour. The town is also on the commuter rail line to Newbridge, which is a short taxi or bus ride away.
Naas is a compact, walkable town with a good range of pubs, restaurants and cafes within a few minutes of the theatre - worth arriving early for a meal before the show. The surrounding county has far more to offer than its racecourses, though Punchestown and the Curragh are both nearby if you happen to be visiting over a race weekend. There is more to see in Naas and across Co. Kildare.
