Cork Area Commuter Rail - Public Consultation Drop-In in Cobh

What to Expect

Irish Rail is holding public drop-in consultation events across Cork on Phase 2 of the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme. The Cobh event runs from 4pm to 8pm on 3 July 2026. Staff will be on hand to explain proposals for new stations, upgrades at Cobh station, full electrification of the Cork-Cobh line, and a new depot. Members of the public can ask questions and submit feedback directly.

Getting There
