At Various buildings across Cork City · Cork City Centre, Co. Cork
Cork Heritage Open Day marks its 20th anniversary in 2026, with over 40 buildings across Cork City opened to the public free of charge. Venues include civic, military, educational, ecclesiastical, commercial, historic homes, and community buildings that are typically closed to the general public.
The event takes place during National Heritage Week (15-23 August 2026) and is organised by Cork City Council Heritage Office. Building tours, guided walks, talks, and exhibitions are available throughout the day. The event coincides with the national Heritage Week theme “Heritage at Risk.”
Events are spread across Cork City Centre. A full map and building list is available at corkcity.ie/en/cork-heritage-open-day/ in advance of the day.
