Family and Sensory Riding Sessions - Crindle Stables

What to Expect

Crindle Stables, near Limavady, runs a run of family and accessible riding sessions through August and into September 2026 rather than a single event. The beginner-friendly Adventure Ride is designed especially for families and first-timers and runs throughout August. Day at the Stables is a more hands-on session covering grooming, riding basics and general time with the horses, running on set dates: 7, 10, 17, 24 and 31 August. A Beach Ride Experience, suited to more confident riders, runs across several dates from 7 to 14 August.

Alongside the family sessions, Crindle also runs Sensory Sessions billed as B.R.I.D.L.E, Bringing Riding Into Disabled Lives Equally, an autism and SEN-friendly programme continuing through August and on 5, 12, 19 and 26 September. All sessions need to be booked in advance directly with the stables, since group sizes are kept small and slots are limited, and none of them run as casual drop-ins.
