Deerpark Forest Parkrun - Weekly Saturday 5k, Virginia

What to Expect

Deerpark Forest Parkrun is a free weekly 5k community event held every Saturday at 9:30am in Deerpark Forest Park just outside Virginia, Co. Cavan. The course is run entirely on trail paths through the forest, with one looped lap and a connecting section at the start and finish near the wood entrance by the rugby club. Post-parkrun coffee is available at a local cafe each week.

• Registration required before your first visit at parkrun.ie; bring a scannable barcode.

• Parking is available in Virginia Rugby Club car park up to 10:30am.

Getting There

From Virginia town centre, take the Ballyjamesduff Road for 1.2km and turn left where signposted for the Rugby Club. The park entrance is at the rear of the rugby club car park.
