What to Expect

Culture Night Derry is an annual city-wide celebration of arts, culture, and heritage on the third Friday of September. On the evening of 18 September 2026, galleries, museums, theatres, historic buildings, and community venues across Derry open their doors for free, with performances, exhibitions, guided tours, and special events running into the night. It is one of the most popular community events of the year, attracting thousands of participants.
