At Gasyard Centre and venues across the city · Gasyard Centre, Lecky Road, Derry, BT48 6NP
Feile is Derry’s largest community arts festival, now in its 34th year, and runs from Wednesday 5 August to Saturday 15 August 2026 with its biggest ever programme of more than 150 events across over 40 venues. Organised by Gasyard Wall Feile from its base at the Gasyard Centre on Lecky Road, the festival brings music, film, political discussion, sport, family days and community celebration to the Bogside, Brandywell, Creggan, Bishop Street and Fountain neighbourhoods as well as Derry city centre. The 2026 line-up opens on 5 August with a talk at Culturlann Ui Chanain from surgeon Dr Nick Maynard on his frontline medical work, and closes on 15 August with a live performance from David Kitt at the same venue. In between, the programme features headline music nights, sporting events, award-winning documentaries including Life Support, Celtic Utopia and Shoot the People, art exhibitions, debates and lectures.
Most Feile venues sit within the Bogside, Brandywell and Creggan areas on Derry’s west bank, a short walk or bus ride from the city centre, with the Gasyard Centre on Lecky Road as the main festival hub and a good starting point for finding your way to the day’s events.
