The Waterside Half Marathon is one of Northern Ireland’s most popular road races, attracting thousands of runners each year. The 2026 event starts and finishes at Ebrington Square on the Derry waterfront and follows a route through the city and along the River Foyle. Getting There

Ebrington Square is a short walk from Derry city centre across the Peace Bridge. Significant road closures will be in effect on race day; use public transport or park away from the route.
