SERC Part-Time Enrolment Evening

South Eastern Regional College holds a Part-Time Enrolment Evening on Thursday, 27 August 2026, from 4pm to 7pm, with the Downpatrick campus taking part alongside the college’s other County Down sites in Bangor, Newtownards and Lisburn on the same evening. The event lets adults enrol in person on part-time evening and daytime courses for the new academic year, from vocational qualifications to short skills courses, without needing to have already applied online.

Getting there

SERC’s Downpatrick campus is on the edge of the town centre, a short walk from the main shopping streets and Down Cathedral. Downpatrick is reached by regular Translink bus services from Belfast, Newcastle and Newry, and there is parking on site for anyone driving in for the evening.

Downpatrick is the county town, its streets built around the hill where Down Cathedral and Saint Patrick’s reputed grave sit above the old county gaol on English Street, now the county museum. There is more to see in Downpatrick and across Co. Down.
