The Drogheda Pride Parade assembles at King Street Car Park at noon and marches through the town centre, bringing together LGBTQ+ people, allies, families and community groups from across Drogheda and County Louth. The parade is free and open to all. An evening celebration follows at The Barrel Room with doors at 8pm and a 9pm show time, headlined by Tailor Maid Colby with support from Bon Bon, AIDXN G and Avatar Guille (ticketed separately).
Drogheda Pride is organised by an all-volunteer committee focused on equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community in Drogheda and Louth. The event coincides with the Boyne Midsummer Festival weekend. The theatre show “The Brod, the Bold and The Beautiful” at Droichead Arts Centre (12 June) is officially part of Spiral’s Big Gay Weekend connected to Pride.
