Earth Rising is IMMA’s flagship environmental arts festival bringing together Irish and international artists engaging with ecological concerns. The festival features exhibitions, live performances, artist talks, screenings, workshops and outdoor installations exploring humanity’s relationship with the natural world through contemporary art practice.
Free entry. Runs throughout summer 2026 (June to August). Multiple exhibitions and events running simultaneously across IMMA’s galleries and grounds. Open Wednesday to Sunday. Public programming and artist talks throughout the festival period. Check website for detailed event schedule.
Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Military Road, Dublin 8. Easily accessible by Luas Red Line to Smithfield or by bus. On-site car parking available. The spacious grounds are ideal for outdoor installations and activities.
