Feile Liam O’Flynn returns to Naas and Kill for its fifth year from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 October 2026, four days of concerts, pub sessions and workshops built around the memory of uilleann piper Liam O’Flynn. The festival mixes headline concerts in the Moat Theatre with smaller sessions in local pubs and churches, plus a family-friendly session trail around the town.
The 2026 bill includes The Mulcahy Family on the opening night, the McCarthy Sisters at St David’s Church on 2 October, The Bonny Men and a full day of instrument workshops at Naas CBS on 3 October, and a closing concert from fiddle player Martin Hayes on 4 October, alongside a matinee from Micheal and MacDara O Raghallaigh with Danny Mahony. Comedian Jarlath Regan also plays the Moat over the opening weekend as part of the wider programme. Workshops run through the Saturday for fiddle, flute, concertina and other trad instruments, booked and priced separately from the evening concerts, and the session trail links pubs around Naas so visitors can follow live music through the afternoon without a ticket. The festival is supported by Kildare County Council and the Arts Council, and 2026 is its fifth edition since it was established to honour O’Flynn, one of Ireland’s best known uilleann pipers, who played with Planxty and The Chieftains.
Naas is just off the M7 motorway about 30 minutes from Dublin, with the Moat Theatre in the town centre and St David’s Church a short walk from it. Bus Eireann services and Dublin-bound commuter buses stop in Naas town centre. Kill village, a secondary venue for some sessions, is a few kilometres east of Naas on the N7.
