At Enniskillen Ulster Farmers Mart · Lackaboy, Old Tempo Road, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, BT74 4RL
ReLove Community Market sets up inside Enniskillen Ulster Farmers Mart on the first Saturday of every month, giving the livestock mart’s yard a second life as a market for pre-loved and handmade goods. The idea is straightforward: give good-quality secondhand items a new home rather than a trip to landfill, while giving local crafters and small food vendors a regular monthly outlet in the same building where cattle are sold most Thursdays.
Stalls run a wide mix of household goods, tools, clothing, toys and accessories, all secondhand or new and sold on by people clearing out rather than a formal retailer. Alongside the recycling and resale side, independent crafters set up alongside the community sellers, showing and selling their own handmade work, and food and drink vendors are on site at each market so there is somewhere to get a coffee or a bite while browsing. The atmosphere is informal and community-run, closer to a car boot sale under cover than a curated artisan fair, which keeps prices low and the browsing pressure-free. Because it runs inside the mart building rather than outdoors, it goes ahead regardless of weather, and the large indoor space gives it room to grow month to month as more sellers and buyers find out about it.
The market is held inside Enniskillen Ulster Farmers Mart at Lackaboy on the Old Tempo Road, on the edge of Enniskillen, a short drive from the town centre. The mart has its own yard and parking for vehicles, making it straightforward to arrive by car.
Enniskillen is Fermanagh’s county town, set between the upper and lower stretches of Lough Erne, and easily combined with a morning at the market. There is more to explore in Enniskillen and across Co. Fermanagh.
