What to Expect

Galway County Council plenary meetings are public sessions where councillors conduct council business across the entire county, discuss policy matters, and vote on motions and resolutions. Members of the public can attend these meetings. Meetings cover issues affecting the wider County Galway including Tuam, Ballinasloe, Loughrea, Clifden, Athenry, and other areas.

County Hall is located on Prospect Hill in Galway City. Accessible by car, bus, or taxi. Parking available on-site and in surrounding areas.
