Garron Noone has gone from a few thousand followers to a few million in the space of a couple of years, and his live show “Delicious” is the natural next step for a performer whose catchphrase - “Follow me, I’m delicious” - has taken on a life of its own. He grew up in Ballina, Co. Mayo, so a homecoming gig on the west coast carries extra weight. If you have watched his food reviews or Irish town commentaries online and wondered what he is like in a room, this is the night to find out. It suits fans of comedy, anyone who followed his music career before the TikTok explosion, and people who simply want a good Saturday night out.
Noone blends stand-up comedy with his background as a singer-songwriter - the “Delicious” show is built around the persona he has spent the last few years crafting online, but stretched out and given room to breathe on stage. He won the Gossie Award for newcomer of the year in 2024, appeared on BBC’s Big Comic Energy, and pulled off a surprise duet with Robbie Williams at Croke Park - so the range is genuine. Expect music, commentary, and the kind of warm, self-aware humour that made his videos travel so far. Seating is unreserved, so arriving close to doors gives you the pick of the house. Castlebar is served by Bus Eireann expressway routes from Dublin, Galway, and Westport, and the town has a train station with regular Intercity services from Heuston. By road, the N5 brings you in from Dublin via Longford and Roscommon; from Galway the N84 runs north. Parking is available at the venue and at nearby public car parks in the town. Cashless payment only at the venue, so leave the loose coins at home.
