Gather and Glow Blessington Farmers Market

The Blessington Market at Gather and Glow is a weekly Sunday gathering of food producers, craftspeople and growers on Main Street, right in the centre of the west Wicklow town. Since opening, it has built a following among Blessington locals and day trippers heading for the Wicklow Mountains and Blessington Lakes, offering fresh produce, artisan dairy, home baking and handmade crafts under one roof in the town centre.

What to expect

Stalls at Gather and Glow cover farm fresh vegetables, artisan dairy, homemade preserves and hand baked goods alongside a rotating cast of craftspeople, artists and makers. The market runs from 11am to 5pm every Sunday, and organisers describe it as a community market as much as a shopping trip, with workshops, live music and family activities appearing alongside the stalls on many weekends. Vendors are recruited directly by the Gather and Glow team, and growers, food producers and craftspeople interested in a stall can apply by email or phone. The market has grown out of a wider effort to build a permanent market and event space in Blessington, so it functions as both a retail market and a gathering point for the town.

Getting there

Gather and Glow is on Main Street in Blessington, in the centre of town and within walking distance of the town’s other shops and the Blessington Lakes amenity area. Blessington sits on the N81, roughly 40 minutes from Dublin city, and there is on street parking near the venue.
