Gavin James headlines the Fortuna Spiegeltent fresh off sold-out headline tours across the UK, Europe and Australia, bringing his catalogue of radio-friendly pop-folk songs to Wexford’s quayfront for the Wexford Spiegeltent Festival. The Dublin-born singer-songwriter has built a career from busking on Grafton Street and in the city’s pubs to more than three billion streams and multiple platinum and diamond certifications, with over 250,000 tickets sold across his touring history. His 2025 album Goldrush marks what he has described as a bold new creative direction while keeping the emotional honesty that has defined his songwriting from the start. The Spiegeltent’s cabaret-style, mirrored interior gives a big-name act like this an unusually intimate setting compared with the arenas he has played elsewhere, and the standing, over-18s format keeps the focus on the show rather than a seated theatre experience. Getting There

The Spiegeltent is set up on Wexford’s quayfront in the town centre, close to O’Hanrahan train station and within walking distance of the National Opera House and the main car parks. Wexford is about 1 hour 40 minutes from Dublin on the N11/M11, and around 45 minutes from Rosslare Europort on the N25 for anyone arriving by ferry. Irish Rail and Bus Éireann both serve the town directly, and with two festivals running at once, booking accommodation ahead is worth doing well in advance of the date.
