K-Pop All Stars Tribute at National Opera House Wexford

At National Opera House · High Street, Wexford, Co. Wexford

Performers on stage during a K-pop tribute concert

What to Expect

K-Pop All Stars Tribute brings a high-energy stage show built around choreographed routines and hits associated with the biggest K-pop acts, aimed squarely at the genre’s young, dedicated fanbase in Ireland. Rather than one group, the show is a tribute production drawing on multiple K-pop styles and eras, staged with the kind of lighting and sound production the National Opera House can support in its main auditorium. Two performances run on the same day, an afternoon matinee and an evening show, which points to a family and younger-audience skew alongside the later slot for older teens and fans who cannot make the daytime show. The venue’s own advance notice flags that the production uses strobe lighting, worth knowing in advance for anyone sensitive to it or bringing young children.

Tribute shows built around a whole genre rather than a single act have become a regular part of the National Opera House’s programme alongside its opera and traditional Irish concert bookings, reflecting how far K-pop’s Irish fanbase has grown in recent years. Running two shows on the same Saturday lets the venue serve both a family matinee crowd and a slightly older evening audience without needing a second date, and it means tickets for one performance do not carry over to the other, so anyone hoping to catch a specific song or segment should check which show it is more likely to feature.
