Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce runs a monthly members’ networking event, rotating through different formats and venues around the town rather than sticking to one fixed room. The next date on the published calendar is Wednesday, 12 August 2026, a lunchtime networking walk through Killarney National Park, followed by a Chamber Breakfast on 9 September and further dates through the autumn.
The August instalment is billed as “a relaxed lunchtime networking” walk through the National Park with coffee and conversation built in, a lighter format than a standard boardroom mixer. Other months take the shape of an early Chamber Breakfast, typically 8am to 9am, or a members’ luncheon at a Killarney hotel - June’s edition, for instance, ran at the Gleneagle Hotel. The constant across formats is informal, low-pressure networking among chamber members and local business owners, aimed more at building relationships than formal pitching, and members are encouraged to bring guests along to widen the room. Details of the exact venue and format for each month are published on the chamber’s own events page shortly beforehand, so it is worth checking ahead of any specific date rather than assuming the format from month to month.
Killarney National Park is on the edge of the town centre, a short walk from Killarney’s combined rail and bus station, which has direct Irish Rail services from Dublin Heuston via Mallow and Bus Éireann coaches from Cork and Limerick. Street parking is available around the town, with the park entrance itself a few minutes’ walk from the centre.
