Tommy Tiernan plays The Glens Centre in Manorhamilton on Thursday, 22 October 2026, the second of two County Leitrim dates on his new county-by-county stand-up tour.

What to Expect

The Glens Centre date is part of Tommy Tiernan’s World Tour of Leitrim, the opening leg of a wider project that will see him tour Irish counties one at a time through venues ranging from arts centres to pubs, hotel function rooms and town halls. His Leitrim run follows dates in Westmeath, with Limerick, Mayo and Galway confirmed to follow through Christmas and beyond. The Manorhamilton show starts at 8pm, and like the rest of the tour it is a phone-free performance, audiences lock their phones into Yondr pouches at the door for the length of the set. Press coverage of the tour so far has called it “exquisite” (The Times) and praised its “wild yarns philosophical detours” (Irish Examiner). This is Tiernan’s second Leitrim date on the tour, a week after his Dock show in Carrick-on-Shannon, and the Manorhamilton date sold out well in advance, so this listing is for reference rather than booking. The Glens Centre is one of north Leitrim’s main venues for touring comedy, music and theatre, having hosted stand-up nights from Gerry Farrell and Paddy McDonnell earlier in 2026 alongside its regular music and drama programme.

Getting There

The Glens Centre is on The New Line in Manorhamilton, a short walk from the town centre, with parking available on site. Manorhamilton sits where the N16 meets the N15, around 45 minutes from Sligo town and 30 minutes from Carrick-on-Shannon by road. The ruined Plantation-era castle of Sir Frederick Hamilton stands in the town centre a few minutes from the venue.
